Sacred Plants Crop Tee

$30.00 USD

This tee was designed by The NTVS, and features the four sacred plants of Sage, Cedar, Sweetgrass, and Tobacco.

Tobacco is considered the main activator and first gift from the Creator. It is used for prayer communication, offerings, and giving thanks before harvesting other plants or starting important tasks. Sweetgrass is known as the sacred hair of Mother Earth. It is often braided, burned to invoke positive energy, and used for purification, peace, and kindness. Sage is used primarily in smudging to clear away negative energy, heal the mind and body, and prepare a space or person for ceremony. Cedar is sed for protection, physical healing, and purification. When brushed on or burned in sweat lodges, it is believed to guard against negative influences and invite balance.

The NTVS specialize in Native streetwear. Based out of Minnesota, their team is comprised of folks from several Native Nations, such as Red Lake Ojibwa, Fond du Lac Chippewa, Native Hawaiian, Kiowa, and Choctaw, with artist collaborations from many other tribes.
